ALTOMONTE, Bartolomeo – Bartolomeo Altomonte, also known as Bartholomäus Hohenberg, was an Austrian baroque painter of Italian extraction who specialized in large scale frescoes. Born in Poland, he was the son of Martino Altomonte who was also a painter.
